Are you thinking of selling?
Let me help you get your place ready for the market. There are several pages to the left that give you many tips. Where to start?
FIRST, Let me come over and take a look. We may have to:
* Declutter or "edit" your stuff.
That means DEpersonalizing. We have to
pack away your cherished family pictures
that may line the top of your TV or your
mantel. The same goes for your Star Trek,
Angels, Santa Clauses, Precious Moments,
Clocks, Harley Davidson, Dolls, Jack Daniels
Bottle, etc. collections.
* Clean the place thoroughly, and keep it clean.
That means kitchen and baths especially.
* Paint or touch up if necessary.
* Replace or clean the carpets.
* Maintain the landscaping.
Plant flowers, trim the shrubs, weed and keep the
lawn mowed.
* Put the dog, cats, hamsters, reptiles or ferret in an
inconspicuous place.
Buyers should not be overly aware you have pets.
* Bring in furniture or accessories.
If your house is empty, we may have to warm it up
with art, furniture, candles, comfy towels, or
call out some charm.
* Empty the garage and / or basement.
That means either chucking or storing your
stuff off site. It also pays to paint these areas!
You may very well be a candidate for a Short Sale. I have resources for all this, as well as a team; and together we can stage and sell your home. Call or email while you're thinking about it.
Now, if you want to BUY a new place, just tell me what you're looking for. We'll find it. There are and will be so many great homes on the market this year!
Let's get to work.
